NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY 2024 – St. Thomas College

Students of St Thomas College, Bhilai participated in the poster competition held at S.O.S in Chemistry, PRSU Raipur. 10 students from the Department of Chemistry and 4 students from the Department of Botany participated. The program was held on 28^th February in connection with the National Science day. Ms. Roshani Dhankar of M.Sc. 1^st sem Chemistry Department won First prize, Ms. Namrata Sahu of M.Sc. 1^st sem Chemistry Department won Second prize, and Mr. Raditya Chandra Sahu of M.Sc. 1^st sem Chemistry Department won Third Prize which included cash prize and certificate. They also participated in the International Seminar on INDEGINOUS TECHNOLOGY FOR VIKSIT BHARAT held at Shankaracharya Professional University, Bhilai. Ms. Roshani Dhankar of M.Sc. 1st sem Chemistry Department won second Prize in poster competition and Mr. Raditya Chandra Sahu of M.Sc. 1st sem Chemistry Department won second Prize in Model competition. Dr.Arvind Sahu Asst.Professor Department of Chemistry with the help of Tejprakash Yadav and Anil Varghese , supervised all the participants from selecting the topic till preparing the poster. The overall guidance of the program was given by Dr. James Mathew HOD and Dr. Chanda Verma Adl.Head Department of Chemistry.
