International Day of Democracy – St. Thomas College

The NSS unit of St. Thomas College, Ruabandha, Bhilai celebrated International Day of Democracy in the college on 15^th September, 2023. First of all Principal Incharge Dr. James Mathew gave his best wishes to all the students and staff members and motivated all to believe on the power of democracy. Principal Dr. M. G. Roymon and Administrator Rev. Fr. Dr. Joshi Varghese congratulated all students and staff members on International Day of Democracy. NSS volunteer Khomendra Sahu and Dhriti Vaishnav shared their views about the strength of democracy in the development of a society and country as a whole and also motivated all to cast their votes compulsorily. The program was conducted by NSS program officer Mr. Mahendra Ikhar and vote of thanks was proposed by NSS volunteer Aayush Sharma. On this occasion IQAC Coordinator Dr. Debjani Mukherjee, NSS Co convenor Dr. J. Maju, Sports Officer MR. Kailash Narayan Verma, other faculties and NSS volunteers were present.
