As said by the philosopher President of India, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan ” Library is the heart of an Institution “. It is much more than a passive repository of information . It contributes directly to the institution’s academic mission and equips students with knowledge and skills to become self directed learners
The Central Library is a two storied building, providing a place to study, material for study and services to assist study. Students have access to a lending library, reference library, paperback library, non-print media library and a vast treasure of journals (current and back volumes), magazines and newspapers. With a computerized database of books in the library, the search and retrieval of books is much easier. Central library has INFLIBNET facility for students, teaching staff as well as research scholar. The Reference Library is on ground floor and has a collection of valuable books.
The college has a vast collection of books of all categories and is symbolic to refinement and learning fostered in the college. There are about 25,000 books and 47 academic journals and 16 magazines, 14 newspapers (English and Hindi) and Employment News (English and Hindi).
The Library therefore breathes an air of distinction and studiousness and is much frequented place in the college.
