Department of Physics was established in 1984 at St. Thomas College, Bhilai. The department offers B.Sc. in Physics and Electronics and M.Sc. in Electronics. At present, there are more than 250 students in the department. The students score well in the university examinations. Their fundamental knowledge has reflected by their selections in the national level examinations like JAM, JEST etc.
The main objective of the department is to provide quality education with basic concepts in Physics and Electronics to prepare the students for University as well as national level M.Sc. entrance and competitive examinations.
