The Civil Services Aspirants Club intends to facilitate the development of competitiveness among the aspirants & assist them to exceed their potential so as to be of service to the society. The Civil Services examination is one of the most competitive and prestigious exams in India. There is a lot of untapped talent among the students which needs to be honed by broadening their perspective and motivating them to go ahead & fulfill their dreams. This club is a platform for the students to gain these attributes by advocating the success mantra that preparation for civil services examination should be qualitative rather than quantitative.
The Civil Services Aspirants Club Monitoring Committee 2017-18 is constituted as under:
Dr. Gaurav Singh (IAS) CEO, Zila Panchayat, Durg Inaugurated the Civil Services Aspirants Club on September 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm. He highlighted his own experience and stressed on systematic and analytic approach towards the subjects and cited instances on the need to persevere, work hard and to translate their passion into action.
He also addressed all the queries of the aspirants and enhanced their motivational level. More than 150 aspirants undergraduate and postgraduate courses attended the programme.
A Motivational Talk was Organized on October 27,2018 and the Resource person was Dr Bhupendra Kuldeep (Deputy Registrar ( Academics) Hemchand Yadav Vishwavidayala Durg C.G) He said that everyone can succeed in the Civil Services Profile if one has the Desire ,Decision and Determination. About 65 aspirant from undergraduate and postgraduate courses attended the programme
An Interactive session was organized on October 27,2018 by Dr Hamid Khan (Director, Path Academy Raipur ,C.G). He said that Civil Services are an attractive and a challenging career for the ambitious and aspiring students.65 aspirants from undergraduate and postgraduate courses attended. He instilled in them a spark of enthusiasm for Civil Services.
The Civil Services Aspirants Club,(CSAC) was inaugurated on September 11, 2017 at 1:30 pm and the Resource Person was Dr M G. Roymon (Principal St Thomas College, Bhilai). He said that the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams and this club will cherish and nurture their dream from Civilian to Civil Servant. Around 75 Students from both undergraduate and postgraduate course attended the programme.
A Motivational talk was organized on December 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm and the Resource Person was Dr. Debjani Mukherjee (Head Dept. of Psychology ). She emphasized on various Career Profiles within Civil Services and motivated the aspirants to think beyond traditional jobs. 55 Students from both Undergraduate and postgraduate courses attended the programme.
Rishikant Chaudhary Assistant Professor (Department of Economics) gave a UPSC Demo Classes on Weekly Basis from (January – February 2018) Within Civil Aspirants to widen the Scope of their Interest.The class was attended by 30 students from both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
