OVERVIEW OF ASSOCIATION
The Psychometrician, an association under the aegis of the Department of Psychology has been the hub of various activities that provide students and teachers an opportunity to explore the multiple dimensions of the discipline. The Department has collaborated with many local government schools and worked with the students for various psychometric testing and career guidance to help students in shaping their future. Through this forum, students are encouraged to work with the special children at schools for mentally impaired and other types of disability. Individuals with mental and emotional challenges are counselled by members of this forum. The association offers many avenues of academic and creative expression to the students. Academic meets and seminars are organised every year. Events like the ‘Mental Health Day’, ‘Open House’ are conducted annually.
