38th Annual Day celebrated in a colourful manner

38^th Annual Day was celebrated in a colourful manner in St. Thomas College Ruabandha Sector, Bhilai. The Chief Guest of this program was Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Honourable Home Minister, Govt. of Chhattisgarh. The program was presided by H.G. Alexios Mar Eusebius, Manager Bishop, St. Thomas College, Bhilai. On this occasion Chief Guest Mr. Tamradhwaj also inaugurated the newly constructed Gymnasium financed by the MLA fund. First of all dignitaries enlightened the lamp on the stage the program was formally started. Principal of the college, Dr. M. G. Roymon welcomed all the guests and students and especially thanked to Chief Guest Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu for the gift of Gymnasium to the college. He said that we also expect your support and guidance in the coming future. H.G. Alexios Mar Eusebius gave his blessings to all the students and said that St. Thomas College, Bhilai is well known for the overall development of students on regular basis. On this occasion Administrator of the college Rev. Fr. Dr Joshi Varghese, Treasurer of St. Thomas Mission Fr. Ajju. K. Varghese, Principal of MGM Public School Bhilai Fr, Kurian John, Fr, Jubin Johnson, Mayor of Risali Nagar Nigam Mrs. Shashi Sinha, Chairmen Mr. Keshav Banchhor, Parshad Maya Yadav, Sheela Narkhede, and officials from Risali Nagar Nigam were also present. Chief Guest Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu heartily appreciated the warm welcome done by the college and congratulated to all students for their achievements. On this occasion prizes were awarded to students by the guests in the categories of sports, cultural program, university merit list and other categories. The program was conducted by Dr. V. Shanthi, Dr. Surekha Jawade, Dr. Jayashri Balasubramaniyam, Dr. Shiny Mendonce, Dr. Sujata Kole and Dr. Chanda Verma and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Sapna Sharma.
