INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

International Yoga day Observed at St. Thomas College Bhilai.

St. Thomas College, Bhilai observed international yoga day with full dedication. A yoga session was held in the morning in which the entire staff participated. Principal Dr. M.G. Roymon presided over the session and was conducted by the yoga expert Mr. Arun Panda and Mrs. Babita Singh from Sec-10, Gyaan Darshan Yogashram. The members of the college meticulously followed the demonstrations and asanas instructed by the yogurus of yogabhyas. Dr. Roymon in his speech said about the benefits of doing yoga regularly and stressed on making it a daily practice.

The session started with various asana taught by Mrs. Babita Singh and proper breathing techniques through Pranaayams by Mr. Arun panda, Ex. Sports Officer (St. Thomas College Bhilai). It is worth mentioning that St. Thomas College conducts yoga classes on regular basis for the students of the college. The staff members felt rejuvenated to do yoga on a daily basis for good physical and mental health. The program was conducted by Dr. Sapna Sharma and Dr. Reema Dewangan Proposed vote of thanks.
